Services - Payment Options
STAR Center knows that each child is unique and therapy is individually customized to meet your child's needs and your family's specific goals. We realize that therapy services can be a financial issue for families. In an effort to ease the burden on families the STAR Center offers a number of different payment options.
Pay-as-you Go Program
Pay each session prior to treatment at the time of service.
Pre-Payment Discount Program
Take advantage of our pre-payment discount when you pay in full at the first session.
Interest-Free Financing for 6 Months Program
Your application through US Bank will take only five minutes to complete over the phone
- Immediate approval in most cases
- No income verification required
- 0% interest for 6 months
- No up front costs
- No closure fees
- No retroactive interest applied to balance if 6 months expires

Flex-Plans
Be sure to find out whether your employer offers a "flex-plan." If they do this means you can elect to put away funds to pay for treatment and pay for it with tax-free dollars. This will provide a substantial savings for you.
Courtesy Billing to Insurance
While STAR Center is a private pay facility we will file the claims for you electronically. (In rare cases it is not permitted by the insurance company). That means no paperwork hassles for you. If you have out-of-network benefits you are likely to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance company. To find out if you are eligible for insurance reimbursement before coming call your insurance provider and ask:
- What are my benefits for out-of-network occupational therapy (or psychology, speech/language therapy, pediatric consult)?
- What is my out-of-network deductible?
- How much of my deductible has already been met?
- How many visits are allowed per calendar year?
- What percentage of the fee per session is covered based on usual and customary charges?
- Is prior authorization required?
Feeding therapy services can include psychology, occupational therapy and/or speech language therapy which makes billing complex. Therefore if you are coming for these services, we will check your benefits when you schedule an Intake.
